Me
As the High Priest of the Holy Church of... boy, that is one long ass title, isn't it? Oh well... comes with the territory... as the High Priest of the Holy Church of Happy Goodtimes (and yes, that is how it appears on the resume), I guess I should inform you about myself... I have been an atheistic humorist since I was 15... after smacking down all the "champions" of religion of my high school in religious discussion, I have moved on to publishing my own philosophy as well as random articles in different e-zines and such... I am masochistically sharpening my debate skills by continuing my education at Baylor University... the largest Baptist school in the world (not joking). This site, if you are humor-challenged, is a satirical jab at the "deeply religious"...and folks who take life WAY too seriously. The organization is real, however... and If we learn to take ourselves less seriously, life becomes far more enjoyable... yup... I also enjoy long walks on the beach, and candlelit dinners... err... yeah... |

The History or Story Behind My Site
This site is the result of many sleep deprived nights, and a complete lack of focus. It's a beauty isn't it? I didn't think so either... the real purpose of this site is to get a few laughs, and to make sure other non-believers out there don't feel alone, but it is also a place for anyone who has a sense of humor to learn a thing or two about life. After all... what better way to remember and get something out of the little lessons in life, then by laughing at and enjoying them?
Others
Oh, the true number of Goodtimists in the world today is quite immeasurable... it is a philosophy of light-heartedness that many people have a hard time adhering to when the struggles of life rear their innumerable heads... but there have been a few folks who (now ordained in the HCoHGT clergy) have helped immensely with the advancement of the philosophy of Goodtimes (knowingly or not) and who, generally, can bring a smile to my face as well as others. The Clergy have their own section of the site, but it is (of course) always a work in progress.
